About this product

1. Ingredients and general description

Obtained by concentration and heat treatment at normal or reduced pressure of milk or reconstituted milk, with or without addition of milk solids and/or cream.

May include sucrose (partially replaced or not by monosaccharides and/or other disaccharides), with or without other permitted food substances.

2. Sensory and physicochemical characteristics

Uniform appearance without perceptible crystals, with characteristic sweet flavor and odor, free of off-flavors, and typical brown color.

Parameters: °Brix 69–71, maximum moisture 30%, fat content 6–9%.

3. Microbiological characteristics and packaging

Complies with: Yeast and mold/g: n=5; c=2; m=50; M=100 (FIL 94B:1990) and Coagulase-positive staphylococci/g: n=5; c=2; m=10; M=100 (FIL 145B:1990).

Packaged in cardboard containers with sanitary lining, glass jars, flex pack (PP/PE laminate), polystyrene plastic cups, or polyethylene plastic packaging, in various sizes. Shelf life depends on storage conditions and packaging type.
